plexmediaserver service won't start

server-freebsd

I'm running plex in a FreeNAS jail. I'm NOT using the plugin.

After upgrading plex, I always got an error 22 when using curl to upgrade the library. So, decided to stop/start the jail that plex is in.

Now the plexmediaserver serivice won't start and I get an error about it not being in /etc/rc.d or in the local startup directories, /user/local/etc.d. But, service -e shows that it IS in the local startup directory!

root@plex:/ # service -e

/etc/rc.d/cleanvar

/etc/rc.d/newsyslog

/etc/rc.d/syslogd

/etc/rc.d/virecover

/etc/rc.d/motd

/usr/local/etc/rc.d/plexmediaserver

/etc/rc.d/cron

root@plex:/ # service pexmediaserver status

pexmediaserver does not exist in /etc/rc.d or the local startup

directories (/usr/local/etc/rc.d)

root@plex:/ # service pexmediaserver start

pexmediaserver does not exist in /etc/rc.d or the local startup

directories (/usr/local/etc/rc.d)

root@plex:/ #

Can someone tell me what to do to get plexmediaserver running?

Thank you.

Nevermind. Obviously, I mispelled plexmediaserver.

I'd delete this thread if I could see how. Feel free to do so.

About the curl error 22, IIRC curl exits with 22 if it gets any HTTP error higher then 400 (or at least the 40x... - best to check the docs to be sure).

It might be that you're not sending a Token to authenticate and so you get a 401.
