# \[PlexPass Feature Request\] Automatic offsite metadata backups

I have always thought this would make for a very attractive Plex Pass feature. Automatic backup of your metadata to Plex’s own servers. If your server crashes or something, you can restore all of your metadata and settings and have your server back up and running how it was before. A lot of us spend a lot of time carefully tweaking each item in our libraries, and backups currently have to be done entirely manually.

I think this would be a nice plex pass perk
