Hi, A friend of mine has seen my Plex system, and wants me to set them up with a simple one box system, I have suggested an i3 nuc, as they do not need lots of power. I was wondering if it is possible to setup PMP embedded or even OpenPHT and then install the Plex server in the background OPENELEC part of the system, they have a laptop that they could use to then administer the system and also a 4tb usb 3 external hdd for file storage, if this is possible, or if anyone has done it, how would i go about achieving it. ---

Technically, it may be possible to run PMS on OPENElec, but no one has compiled a package it. Is there a reason it needs to be OpenElec, and not Linux, or Windows? ---

Windows would require a licence and they want it to be as simple as possible with no other OS getting in the way, pretty much like an appliance. ---
