Does anybody know the correct string to use to send client capabilities (i.e AC3 and/or DTS) via the http api for m3u8 transcoding? Also is it sent via the string to start the transcoding (along with quality level, etc.) or some other time?

Hi classic,

have a look at these classes of mine:
http://code.google.com/p/myplexmedia/source/browse/trunk/PlexMediaCenter/Util/Transcoding.cs
http://code.google.com/p/myplexmedia/source/browse/trunk/PlexMediaCenter/Plex/Connection/PlexCapabilitiesClient.cs

your questions should be covered there - remember, all this is open source so you might just use these for yourself ;-)

hope this helps,
Anthrax
