# PMS Team Transcoding

For those familiar with Cinema 4D software, there is a way to utilize the CPU power of multiple machines to render 3D animations via what they call “Team Rendering”.   
  
  
Basic setup:

- 1 primary render machine with C4D installed  
- Unlimited # of machines with Team Render Client installed  
- Gigabit network backbone  
  
  
All render clients communicate with the primary machine to complete the render job. I believe the same concept can be made possible with PMS and transcoding. I have 2 Mac Pros with 4 cores each on a gigabit switch. It would be amazing if I could utilize both to transcode media. Any thoughts?
