I checked on my server that I am running on Windows 11 this morning and the PMS will not boot up. It says:

“The code execution cannot proceed because libcurl.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.” “The code execution cannot proceed because opencv\_core455.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.” “The code execution cannot proceed because opencv\_imgcodecs455.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.” The code execution cannot proceed because opencv\_ingproc455.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

When I tell you I am not tech savvy, I mean it… Getting this thing up and running was a case of a blind squirrel finding a nut and I have only done system updates to PMS and Windows since then.

Can anyone tell me if reinstalling would be safe?

Usually it is safe.
But you should NOT use any kind of “uninstaller” or “cleanup” software (at least while performing the update).

1. perform a malware scan with your anti virus software (by default there is Windows Defender readily available)
2. download the latest software version of Plex Server from [https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-media-server](https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-media-server)
3. if present, right-click the Plex logo in your system tray and “Exit”
4. run the downloaded installer exe
5. reboot Windows

Followed instructions (except for the reboot for the moment) and am back up and running. Thank you for a timely response!
