Last night found the podcast sync settings series download, how many, wether to keep podcast or delete. Set up to sync several podcasts worked as expected. Setup a couple more podcasts to sync/download manually. Which did not sync on WiFi last night. Opened up plex this morning at work on data only. Podcast tried to start syncing podcast download of 9 it did not get last night. Checked that sync on data is not checked and it isnt. Just reporting what i have experienced. Plex is just getting better and better. Plex podcast is an awesome add on. ---

Update to above As data started dowloading put phone plane mode. Closed down plex. Switched off plane mode so back in data mode. Restarted plex looked at podcasts. Plex is now waiting to download and not using any data. Good plex ---

We can’t reproduce the problem you describe. Can you please do the following: 1. Connect your device using mobile data (i.e., no wifi) 2. Download a podcast episode (you should see a toast informing you that the download has been queued) 3. Kill the app. 4. Start the app again. When I follow these steps the app doesn’t download anything (to trigger the download I need to connect the wifi). If that’s not what you’re seeing can you please share application logs right after the undesired download has taken place? There is actually a bug we are aware of where the mobile data preference was not being followed. This is fixed in the latest release 7.5.0 which is slowly making its way around. Since you have a PP, you can try sideloading it from the release announcement page if you don’t want to wait. ---
