# Podcast doesn't show up on Android

The podcast menu/feature (icon at bottom of screen with new UI) doesn’t show on my account. It’s not in the Edit menu either.
I have enabled Podcast in Account -\> Online Media Sources, so it should work.
Funny thing is that while it doesn’t show up on my account, it shows up on my girlfriends account in same home (tested on same device by changing account). She got the features and I doesn’t.
Is this a bug or me doing something wrong?

I had the same issue and your tip about Online Media Sources let me to the solution. My setting for online media sources said Disabled for Managed Users. I turned it to Enabled and podcasts showed up on my Android phone. It didn’t say Podcasts though, just News.

Podcasts still aren’t showing on my android app. I have enabled podcasts under the online media sources and added podcasts via the web app, but nothing showing on android.
Uninstalled and reinstalled app. Logged out and back in again. Nothing.
Any suggestions?

In my case it showed up after I cleared data on my app.

Should it be rolled out for everyone in the Android app by now?
The option shows on my wife’s Android app but still isn’t showing for me.
I’ve cleared data, cache, uninstalled and reinstalled but still no luck…

The staged rollout is now complete for everyone. Are you able to see Podcasts now?

No, still don’t see the podcast option in the Android app. I can see the option when using the web interface…

I’ve tried reinstalling and clearing data. Nothing works. Podcast still doesn’t show up on my Android user. Only on other users.
Phone: OnePlus 6, Android 8.1.

yeah im noticing this issue as well, thinking it may be issues with the new ui. It has shown after minutes of letting the app sit there (loading?) but my “more” section seems to take awhile to load itself which is annoying. still dont see any reason other than a background issue with the new android app to be the cause of this but thats just my thoughts

so this was working for me. i uninstalled the plex app. then when i reinstalled it no longer shows! what gives!

Mine disappeared when I updated to 7.0.4 tonight. Uninstalled, cleared data, cache…nothing.

Same here, it was there and working. Then I tried to use it and it kept crashing the app and showed red badges that said ‘offline’ next to podcasts. Then it completely disappeared from the app. Reinstalled and still gone. They must be working out some kinks.

@Dafreakzo It seems like deleting the app and re-installing fixed the issue for me.

@Dafreakzo I just noticed this issue and fixed it by clearing app data.
