Podcasting support would be nice. Right now, the only thing I still use iTunes for is Podcasting. I really hope there is work going on to add Podcasting support. This would finally get me away from iTunes for my media needs.

Would love to have this integrated in plex. Using separate apps now, and I am all about unification.

I’d like podcast functionality, too. If I could import my podcast library under “TV Shows” then I would get the needed functionality (ie: new episode, on deck, watched, etc) but TV shows won’t import mp3s.

Are you talking about management to the point of adding new ones and whatnot? Cause Plex has never done anything with that sort of functionality.
I have some Podcast files of mine set up in a music library, but I am looking forward to the promised audiobook functionality, since that would minimally mean Plex would remember progress in each episode. I hope it will also include variable speed playback.
How/Where do you listen to your Podcasts? I can’t imagine having to use iTunes for it anymore. Pocketcasts has mobile apps and a web app that will sync all of your podcasts and their progress. That’s what I use.

Man that was a difficult one to fix in plex. Also it doesn’t remember where you left off. Bit annoying with these 2hr podcasts to have to remember where you left off 😕

I haven’t been a supporter of this in the past, but now I agree this would be a nice feature addition, if integrated well.
