Battlestar Galactica, using Plex’s TV Series agent’s metadata, is divided into two separate series with one for the miniseries and one for the show proper: Miniseries: “Battlestar Galactica” (dated as 2003) > **[Battlestar Galactica (2003)](https://watch.plex.tv/show/battlestar-galactica-2)** > > Following the destruction of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol by the Cylons, a rag-tag fugitive fleet of the last remnants of mankind flees the pursuing Cylons while simultaneously searching for their true home: Earth. It is ridiculously difficult to manage separated in two: on my own server, Plex will only put ‘33’ and ‘Water’ into “Battlestar Galactica (2003)”, with every other episode shoved into the miniseries’ S1. Plex also needs to handle miniseries like actual proper series, i.e. placing them in with each season. Better handling of specials between seasons is also important - shows often do canonical specials between seasons, Doctor Who (2005) is a notable one. ---

If I can figure out a way to get it to accept things properly I’ll report back. ---

Having “Battlestar Galactica (2003) (2005)” appear in embeds is just ridiculous. ---
