Is it possible to pre transcode videos I have in Plex in order to use less CPU usage? ---

Is it possible to use other computers to pre transcode faster? My media server shares the disk as a network drive. ---

I transcode all of my videos into H264 / AAC stereo before I add them to my library. It is a very time consuming proccess, but I’m able to handle 5+ simultaneous streams with a single server. ---

Okay, I would like to know what Optimize setting will make a H264 / AAC combo. I would like to pre-transcode most of my library into what is most commonly supported. I tried “Original Quality” and it worked for the video but most are still transcoding the audio to ACC. Any thoughts? ---
