Open the app, press "Live TV” on the bottom right, congratulations the app is locked up and you can’t do anything but stare at the black screen or close the app. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling and same issue. Works fine on Android TV, iOS, Windows, Web. Just all my Android phone have the bug.

Here is the log. Not sure if it’s going to help since I need to close the app and reopen to get it as the app is completely frozen after touching Live TV.
It is fixed in 2025.30.
The workaround was to turn on the Plex live tv.
I wouldn’t say it’s “fixed”. Just got the 2025.30 update… Yeah, the guide finally comes up after taking over a full minute to load when on the network. Remotely is even slower. Not exaggerating to be dramatic. I timed it. Any channel plays for about 7 seconds before stopping if it plays at all remotely. What an absolute dumpster fire this app has become. Before anyone starts blaming my hardware or a connection, the old Android TV app works fine on the network and even remotely tethering off my phone. Windows app works fine even remotely tethered to my phone. It’s 100% this new Android app at fault. How do you release something so broken? I wouldn’t even consider this beta tester ready.
Rolled back to 10.26 and everything works flawlessly. It’s the new app at fault.
