Problem with movies and series episodes appearing in continue watching section

Hello.
Elements do not appear in the Continue Watching section. For example, when there is one item in the Continue Watching section and I add an episode of a show or several episodes to the media library, that one item turns into some randomly added new episode. If I restart Plex for Windows, Android or refresh the Plex website, it shows all the added episodes in the continue watching section. Is there anything I can do about this so that I don’t have to shut down and restart the program? The limit is set to 40, and the time is set to 16 weeks
