# Problem with naming formt

Try `Dexter New Blood` (without the dash) in both the folder and file names.

For shows such as [Dexter: New Blood](https://thetvdb.com/series/dexter-new-blood) with a colon in the name (which cannot be in a file name), simply leave the character out. Do not replace it with a dash. Plex uses the dash character as a separator. If it appears in an unexpected location it may throw off Plex’s ability to correctly recognize shows, movies, etc.

Also:

1. Use a TV Show library.
2. No mixing movies and TV shows in the same library. Doing so is not supported and will cause problems with Plex correctly recognizing your media.
3. Add `E:\PLEX\TV Shows\` to the library. Do not add `E:\PLEX` or each individual show folder. Doing so is not supported and will cause problems with Plex correctly recognizing your media.
