So i have built a windows 11 pro system for plex use only. Installed server software and set it up. tested on home network works ok. tried emby first had problems with lag on my network. so paid for plex pro lifetime, Checked the remote access page found connected to plex but remote is offline. network is a dream machine pro, Isp is comcast top package, I have there xfi box in bridge mode to the dream machine. I have set the plex pc ip to static, I set port forwarding in dream machine to 32400 tcp with static ip for the plex pc. plex connects for like 30 seconds and says the same thing. connected to plex but no remote access. I have checked both firewalls defender and Bitdefender but i have set to let plex in. I did a port test and i got back connection timed out trying port 32400. Not sure what to do next.
Fixed. Admin can close or delete this page.
