Problems installing Plex on a ReadyNAS 104

I’ve recently tried to install Plex on a Readynas 104 that had been unused for quite a while. The 104 is running firmware version 6.9.4 and I have tried installing Plex via the apps menu and also downloading the latest version from Plex and using the upload feature from web GUI. Plex installs and can be toggled on but when I launch the media server from the web GUI after a while " A problem has been detected with a core component of Plex Media Server." is displayed.

I have tried using SSH and # apt-get purge plexmediaserver-ros6-binaries then removed the /apps/plexmediaserver directory before re-uploading the latest version but that didn’t make any difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not sure why this made a difference, but I was reading in another post about entering http://Your-NAS-IP-Address:32400/web into a browser so I tried it and it now seems to work.
