PS3 - Plex plays some HD videos in 4:3, the originals are 16:9

Good morning all,

I am streaming our home videos on Plex/PS3. I have had three cameras that I used:

Canon Elura (SD, 4:3)
Sony HDR-HC3 (HD, 16:9)
Sony CX-520 (HD, 16:9)

For some reason, Plex App on PS3 is playing the HC3 videos in 4:3, whatever I do. Also, if I use the Plex Media Server under PS3/Videos, that plays it properly (16:9). Plex on my desktop plays 16:9, too.

What is wrong with the Plex app and HC3 combination?

To add here are the file types:

avi: Canon Elura (SD, 4:3)
m2t: Sony HDR-HC3 (HD, 16:9)
m2ts: Sony CX-520 (HD, 16:9)

So looks like the m2t’s are played 4:3 instead of 16:9. Thanks.
