Hi all! Still very new to Plex but haven’t had any issues streaming from my NAS until now. I have a DS1515 running PMS 0.9.16.6. The Plex app on the PS4 is 01.17. I was able to link the app to my Plex account with no issues. The PS4 Plex app sees my music library just fine and all thumbnails/tracks are there.
However, I can’t get any track to play at all. I press play and it looks like it’s getting ready to play, but nothing happens. No sound plays, no progress bar…progressing. I can advance to other tracks, etc, but nothing every plays. The only thing that does work is playing music videos for the tracks that have one associated with them.
My music collection consists mostly of FLAC files but I have a fair number of mp3s too. Neither file type will play.
The PS4 is currently connected to my network via wifi. I did test with a wired connected to my router, but that didn’t see to help either.
What’s weird is, I have a friend who shared some of her own music and movie libraries with me and they play just fine!
Any thoughts as to why this is happening/what I could do would be greatly appreciated!
