# PS5 - stuttering direct stream

You can’t compare pi to PS5. One is an open OS that people have been working with and creating libraries for for years, one has been available for less than a year.

There are clearly issues, you can see @Moussa making posts about them and acknowledging them. If they were simple fixes, we’d have them by now. In one of his recent posts he mentions that they’re working with Sony to address some of the issues we’re all facing ([here](https://forums.plex.tv/t/playstation-5/676301/3)).
