# Qr code on link screen

Why can’t the link code also have a qr code that goes to that page passing the code and only requiring the authentication? This would make my wife happy as my TV has prompted her several times and if she could just point her camera or qr code app at it she would be much less grouchy.

It drives my wife crazy too so I made an icon to the plex link website on our ipad and on her phone. She’s happy now.

How often are you having to link?

I can’t recall ever having to do this after the initial pinning…

This would have been extremely useful to have following the password reset event a couple months back. Got pretty old having to manually enter login info.

When linking account says [https://plex.tv/link](https://plex.tv/link) or something would be nice if this was a QR code or linked to app for sign on
