Queue maxes at 97 items

I had posted this a while back and got no response, but now the problem has changed even more.

I add a lot of youtube videos to my queue via a "plex it" bookmarklet.

In the past I had upwards of 300 or so videos in my queue. I like to save instructional videos to be able to reference quickly as well as fun stuff. Shortly before your website makeover my queue would show as 99 items locally on my server and in my RoKu, yet online at plexxapp.com (or whatever url it was) it showed all 300+ items. Now when your website changed, both my server and yours only show 97 items. 97? 99 made more sense if there was a digit bug or something, but now it's limited to 97 no matter how many I add. i find that really strange.

I even tried deleting every single one and got my queue back to zero and started again just to see if clearing it would have any effect, but no difference.

Could anyone tell me if they have more than 97 or 99 items in their queue right now?

Is there anyone that can verify that there is or isn't a new queue limit?

Is the limit happening due to the videos being on YouTube?

ANY help would be appreciated in trying to solve this.

Mine is maxed out at 91. I had over 300 watched videos before from multiple sources. I suppose many were from YouTube but not sure that has anything to do with it. I’m guessing there is now a queue item limit in place.

Does this limit apply to watched as well as unwatched videos? Because I've not been bothering to delete videos from the queue after watching them - not up to 97 yet, as I've only recently been using it, but I'd like to know if this is going to be a problem.

Interestingly now I have 99 showing. I still have much more than that as when I delete one another that was over 99 shows up in the listings. But it is annoying that I can no longer actually see what I have in the queue over the 97 or 99. If anyone that reads this has OVER 99 please post so we know if this is a problem with only some of us.

I have this same problem: https://forums.plex.tv/topic/94357-home-theater-queue-cant-mark-watched-web-queue-missing-videos/

I'm losing videos that are at the bottom of the queue.  It seems that when I add a new video, an old one gets bumped.  My 'unwatched' queue seems to be limited to a paltry 24 videos.

What Plex Clients and/or URLs are you using to access the Queue?

If I access http://plex.tv/queue I get a limited number of items. Same with Queue on AppleTV. If I access on Roku or iOS or view http://plex.tv/web/app# I get access to all the items I have added.

I use a variety of clients to access my queue;  like yourself, I get different results on different clients.

Plex/Web via Firefox - shows 26 videos

iOS - shows 39 videos

Plex Media Centre - shows 39 videos

Now knowing this, I tested further.  It seems that when I add a new video, the queue expands as expected with iOS and Plex Media Centre, but Plex/Web doesn't display older unwatched videos.  It seems limited to 26 videos.

In PLEX via a Roku it is either 97, 98, or 99 depending on the day.

http://plex.tv/web/app#!/playlist/queue shows 98 right now.

http://plex.tv/queue redirects back to the previous http://plex.tv/web/app#!/playlist/queue with 98 listed.

http://localhost:32400/web/index.html#!/playlist/queue shows 96 right now.

And there is always more than 100 items in my queue.

Found this response from Plex team in the PlexPass forums (dated Dec. 2013):

"We had to limit it to 100 because of performance problems with myPlex. We are working on a better fix, when that's working we will lift the limit. "

Thanks for that!

As the above quote was dated from December, has there been any word on whether a fix is in progress?

#13

Great.... now my "Unwatched" list is limiting itself to a whopping 8 videos.  I certainly have queued more than that... where did the others go??

#14

Just wondering if there has there been any progress on this particular issue? Any plans to lift the 100 visible queue limit anytime soon?

Same issue exists four years later - any fix in the works or has this fix stalled and died? I wanted to add my backlog of YouTube subs so I could easily catch up on them in order over time. In the On Deck screen the count will rise past 100 but when I click on the Watch Later queue, only 100 videos are in the list.
Thanks!
