# Random movies playback

Hi

I have a strange behavior or openPHT 1.7.1 when I choose play on a movie it play any movie randomly.

When I use either the web interface of plex or Ipad interface it works correctly, so it is definitely openPHT.

I tries AEON NOX Plex Black and openPHT theme without any difference.

I uninstalled it and reinstalled it still the problem remains.

Any idea of how to solve this ?

I’ve only ever seen this when the cache is corrupted and the media ID’s don’t line up. Then it’s a matter of restarting OpenPHT and usually that clears it up.

Since you’ve uninstalled/reinstalled, you should really start from scratch by deleting/renaming your existing openpht data directory located here:

> ```auto
> Windows: %APPDATA%\OpenPHT (C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\OpenPHT)
> 
> ```

WARNING: This will reset all openpht / skin settings and you will have to go through initial setup again …

I deleted the data file in the mac libraries and reinstalled it again.

It is now working thanks a lot 🙂
