Time and times again I find myself wondering what movie to watch. So I start scrolling through my library. Because I have sorted my library by title I always scroll through my movies in the same order. And I never make it to the end of my library. Wouldn’t it be great it there was an option to sort my movie library randomly, so I can scroll through different movies every time and get fresher suggestions then the same ones (in the same order) every time. ---

Which client(s) are you using? Some already have a “Shuffle” play option in the Library view for Movies. ---

I’m using the iOS app and the Panasonic WebOS app. Both have (as far as I can see) a shuffle option, but this plays a random movie. What I would like is for the library to sort its movies in a random order. ---

in the movie library \> recommendations, there should be a ‘top unwatched movies’ hub. this is normally a random set of unwatched high rated movies. I pin this hub to my home screen, so I can always have an easy way to see random movies that might peek my interest. ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/3X/e/1/e1a06699cfb6bf2d9d3096cc0a53d52ff64b2711.jpeg) of course neither is the solution you are requesting, and I agree there should be a sort by random/shuffle available within the UI for any list of movies/episodes/music/etc. ---

I wish there were REVERSE TITLE SORT. I can’t see where I can ask that question. ---

You can do that… 1. open the library 2. open the sort order selection 3. click on the selected option = reverse order ---
