# RasPlex System Halt

Just got the RasPi going - tried to play a BR rip and it hung. Hard reboot and now get a system halt message (couldn't mount). Its happened twice.

&nbsp;

Only way I've resolved is to rewrite the card. Running 0.1.36

&nbsp;

Any ideas?

Firstly, update to 0.1.37 and see if you keep having the problem. Have you increased the cache in the settings screen? Most people recommend letting the system cache for a while before using it. I personally leave it for a few hours before trying to use it.

A few other questions:

What model Pi? 256mb/512mb

SD card, is it a Class 10?

Just upgrading now.

512Mb Pi, Class 10 SD card.

0.1.37 fixed it.
