# Re-recording shows

One of the TV shows that I have been recording (The Goldbergs) had some bad episodes, so I deleted them. I live half way between Chicago and Milwaukee, I get stations from both cities. When I first started recording The Goldbergs, Plex was pulling the Milwaukee station. Some nights the recordings are crystal clear, other nights you cannot watch them at all. I have noticed Plex is not re-recording the episodes after I delete them. I have plenty of drive space and have the settings set to not delete shows after being watched. But I cannot figure out how to get Plex to re-record an episode of The Goldbergs after I delete it. Is there a way to tell the Plex server that the recording does not exist any more and to go out and get a new one when available?

Could be that you need to empty the library trash

Also check recording setting to see if you are looking for New and Repeats
