1. I would like that Plex is able to read photo’s Exif information. Especially tags (key words). So that I’ll be able leverage this feature and search photos by a tag. 2. Also it would be nice that I could write to the photos’s exif information directly. Especially tags (key words). 3. It would be nice that Plex would be able to read/write video’s exif information. I have several ten of thousands of photos and searching only by album doesn’t produce required results. It would be nice that Plex fully supports (read/write) photo’s exif information and leverage that in search. ---

I agree! I’m really frustrated at - having spent YEARS tagging all my images in Windows & exif - that these can’t be used in Plex and I would have to spend years doing the whole thing again! Even if it was necessary to use some type of script I’d be happy - or even better have this as an option in the auto-tagging rather than uploading to an external site and getting lots of useless generic tags such as ‘flower’ (I’ve thousands of flower images all individually tagged with the individual species and cultivar!). Currently seriously considering removing my Photos library and using a different viewer, which would be very disappointing ☹ ---
