Server Version#: 1.32.0.6865 Recently added TV section only displays in the “Library Recommended” view if it is also enabled on “Home”. Removing it from “Home” also, incorrectly, removes it from the Library view. I have a “TV Shows” section and then a separate section for Reality TV. The Reality section is excluded from the home screen in the server settings (Manage \> Libraries \> Unchecked ‘Home’ column). The issue is that with these settings, “Recently Added” does not show when I open the Reality TV library, even though it is checked under ‘Library Recommended’. The only way I can see “Recently Added” in this Library is to also add it to Home as well, then it shows up in both places. This is obviously a bug because “Recently Released Episodes,” “Start Watching” and all the others work as expected. This has been an issue for a long time but I just took the time to troubleshoot it. I found a Reddit thread from a year ago that had some people chime in with the same issue without a real resolution. Checking “Merge Recently Added items” brings back “Recently Added” in the Library Recommended view. Seems like that is further evidence that this is a bug and not a misconfiguration. I would leave it this way but this configuration puts shows from this library in my “Continue Watching” list on the Home screen, which is unwanted. This really seems like a simple bug to find and fix… ---
