# Recording breaks IOS live TV Streaming

Server Version#:1.42.1.10060
Player Version#:2025.24.0(1235)
When recording live TV and trying to watch on IOS the program starts from the beginning of the recording and doesn’t allow seeking forwards using any method (will restart playback from the beginning).
This is probably a niche issue but I like to record and watch football games live outside the house and this bug makes that impossible.

Bump. Still an issue, no workaround to watch live tv through Plex on mobile while recording
Edit: Migrated to Linux after the original post and the issue still persists.

Bump, would really like resolution on this issue. Frustrating not to be able to pick up a live recording on mobile.
TV apps (tvOS, Android) have “Watch Live” or “From beginning” options, iOS does not.
