# Recordings don't play

I am trying to use Live TV recording, I’ve selected a episode to record but can not play it in Plex the orb just keeps going around in circles, I have found the file and opened in VLC and it plays ok but missing the last 5 mins.  
the file records as a .ts and trying to play it in Windows Media Player just plays the video but no audio.
