# Regarding the custom server access URL option

So if I have multiple URLs listed there, how does it select which one to serve from? Does it try stuff at random? Is there an algorithm? Round-robin? Does it try all of them and select the best one? This option severely needs more documentation.

Dude, I just have exactly the same doubt. My current scenario:
I’m from Brazil and I have one dedicated server on Chicago/USA hosting my Plex Server. The peering of my home ISP from Rio de Janeiro/BRA \<-\> Chicago/USA is pretty bad so I paid for a VPS on Brazil that has a really good connection with the network where my dedicated server is located, I configured a reverse proxy (Chigago/USA -\> VPS on Brazil -\> My home) and now my experience is much better.
**The problem** : The VPS I paid on Brazil has a full duplex link of only 50mbps, and this can barely sustain 3~4 simultaneously 1080p direct plays. I had a simple idea, why not pay for the same VPS package again and set a second additional reverse proxy to my server on Chigago? I can do it easily, but how to get both reverse proxies being reached by [plex.tv](http://plex.tv)?
What would happen if I do it:
[plex1.test.com](http://plex1.test.com) point to ip a
[plex2.test.com](http://plex2.test.com) point to ip b
Does [plex.tv](http://plex.tv) has some internal load balancing mechanism?
