Excellent!
Beautiful!
I have idea regarding the techinfo page and the sensitive information.
Where do you want suggestions/feature requests going forward?
Forums? Or issue tracker as an enhancement request?
I see reasons for either. Issue tracker could inconvenience/would require the Plex forum user to go create yet another account, but forums could get lost in the mix.

@JamminR

I always prefer GHI’s, but fully understand what you are saying here :wink:

So either way will do

#4

Well, after I posted, I went ahead and posted a feature request at github.
Reference #453 - https://github.com/ukdtom/WebTools.bundle/issues/453
In Techinfo, Show/Hide sensitive information using a button/link.
This would allow safe copy/export.

EDIT - and Ukdtom has already classified it.

#5

Any particular procedure I should follow in order to uninstall WebTools V2 or just delete it from the Plug-ins directory?

-Server is on a Win7 box

#6

Nope…

Nuke it, install the new one…

When done, logon, go to UAS, and select Migrate

#7

@dane22 Thanks

Question: Does WebTools need to be installed on the same computer as PMS? I have PMS running on an iMac, but I also have a QNAP NAS. Can I run WebTools on my QNAP? Or would I have to install it on my iMac?

Yes.

Can I run WebTools on my QNAP?

Unless you run your PMS server Plug-ins folder from your QNAP, No.

Or would I have to install it on my iMac?

It goes in PMS plugins folder.

Thx for a great plugin. However I have problem that I can’t delete external subtitles from Agents.
When I try to delete it seems to be deleted but when I refresh the page it reappears again. I get no errror… Deleting sidecar subtitles works fine.

@anders84

Is the agent still enabled?
Cuz if so, it’ll instantly redownload it :wink:

#12

And added to our FAQ

Thanks! You were right. I can’t believe how quick it is redownloaded, almost as it is cached somewhere.

Hi,

I manually installed WebTools 3.0 for PMS on CentOS recently. PMS says the channel is “Not responding” and I am unable to connect via default ports.

I’ve attached logs and a screenshot of permissions via ls -l

Not sure how to fix the issue. Thank you

#15

@TrumpNet

Bad upgrade I guess.
Try this:

  • Stop PMS
  • Delete WebTools folder
  • Do a manual reset
  • Re-Download and install WebTools again

#16

Congrats on WT V3, I love it! Now that you gave us Playlists, could it be possible to add something like “Copy all Playlists to all users”, so we don’t have to copy each individual playlist to each individual user? Thanks again!

That worked and after opening ports WebTools is working. Thanks

Awesome idea.
I just now realized when looking at the Playlists tool that the playlists are (apparently) stored on my server.
I thought the user playlist was stored at Plex.
