12/11/2015: Finally, I was able to update the download links ...

As already mentioned in the Night Support Thread I recently switched to a new server and therefore I also got a new IP. Because of the new forum software I couldn't edit this post and replace the old links until now, unfortunately the new (and most likely 8 year old) new owner of my old IP also decided to offer a "Night Skin" zip package on his server, needless to say that it wasn't the proper zip file.

Sorry to anybody who was affected by this ...

This skin is awesome! I am using the List#3 (Low) view, wondering which xml to edit to remove the white rounded border that is on the posters? I think it would look cleaner without it.

#4

this is an incredible skin, nice job.

#5

I just finished korean translation with PoEditor...Thx for Great Skin

#6

Best skin, ever. Thank you!

Posted on the other thread Night (beta 1), but it seems abandoned.

I am using the Night skin with OpenPHT 1.5.2 and it works great, however there is one issue. The "i" codec info when watching a movie does not show correctly as the new versions of OpenPHT have the info on 6 lines, but the skin only allows 4 so there is some text overlapping.

Which .xml has the CodecInfo to fix the issue?

EDIT: I have fixed the issue. Here are the adjusted lines in VideoFullScreen.xml file. It resides in the 720p subfolder.

<control type="label" id="10">
            <description>row 1 label</description>
            <posx>0</posx>
            <posy>12</posy>
            <label>-</label>
            <align>left</align>
            <width>1280</width>
            <textcolor>white</textcolor>
            <font>Font_RSS_Unicode</font>
        </control>
        <control type="label" id="11">
            <description>row 2 label</description>
            <posx>0</posx>
            <posy>62</posy>
            <label>-</label>
            <align>left</align>
            <width>1280</width>
            <textcolor>white</textcolor>
            <font>Font_RSS_Unicode</font>
        </control>
        <control type="label" id="12">
            <description>row 3 label</description>
            <posx>0</posx>
            <posy>112</posy>
            <label>-</label>
            <align>left</align>
            <width>1280</width>
            <textcolor>white</textcolor>
            <font>Font_RSS_Unicode</font>
        </control>

First of all: great skin (looking at the screen shots)! A really stupid question: how do I switch between different views?! I can only see "on deck" and "recently added". How do I switch to custom and where do I customize the custom views?

This worked great, this has been bugging me after I switched to OpenPHT.

There is already a fix available since April 21, you can find it here :

Here a some screenshots of the new features available in v2.0. Again, I’m really working hard to finally get v2.0 out as soon as possible, really underestimated the time it takes me to do all this fancy new stuff …
Screenshots (still work in progress) :

  • Customizable Screensaver (Dashboard)
  • Color Customization
  • New Context Menu / Navigation

Do you know if this will have any problems with RasPlex?

Thanks btw, this looks awesome!
