Today we announce the release of RasPlex 1.6.1. This release includes fixes for issues reported with the 1.6.0 release and updates to the default skin. Hi! I am a new Rasbian user - my order should be arriving in the next day or two. It is coming preloaded with the XMBC (?) multimedia software for a subscription service. I intend to use it as a multimedia server for our home. Is Rasplex an app that is installed to the existing OS, or do I need to format and overwrite? I’m not remotely familiar with these devices, so any help you can provide would be most appreciated. Thanks, CSM ---

I cant disable Cec it says it’s unticked but still enabled when I use my TV remote, am I alone? ---
