# Remote Access Disabled in Plex App

Server Version#: 1.20.1.3252  
Player Version#: 8.4.1.9323

Suddenly, remote access is disabled from the Android app, having made no changes or configurations to my server. Intermittently, the Plex web client will display the message prompting to enable insecure connections.

Running `service plexmediaserver restart` seemed to fix the problem after a short delay.

Did some configurations occur to the Plex proxy servers, or did this just result from the Plex service on my debian machine erroring out for some reason? What should I look for in the Plex logs to identify this problem and prevent it from happening again?

Same thing occurred here: it happened from nowhere in my local server that was working for months without any issue, until today 😕

Edit: And, thank you for the solution! It works, again! 😃 Probably, some changes occurred in the Plex backend server that bugged something.
