# Remote access from friends lan not working

Server Version#: 1.18.5.2309-f5213a238
Player Version#: 4.2.31
When connecting with my own PS4 or phone through my local net, everything works fine. If i connect with my phone without wifi, it also work fine. But… If i try to connect using my friends PS4 (with my account) or with my phone using his wifi, then i get “server offline”. However… If i log on with my phone, and get access to the server before i switch over to my friends wifi, it works fine, and i can start streaming. For some reason i just can’t find the server as long as i am connected to his wifi.

Tell him to access his router configuration. Set the ‘DNS server’ to 8.8.8.8 then reboot the router.
