Here is the logs with verbose off. I also just found a button in there to reset the server settings, but I can’t find it again.

Bumping this topic again. Just got a new modem/gateway since my network was cutting out way too often. Still having connectivity issues to the plex media server from out of the network. I am getting to the point where I am going to delete the whole plex data base and start over again. This function has been working for years and I still don’t see rhyme or reason why it has stopped. Not very proud to say I have paid for this software at this point.
Same her. without ddos setting on asus it works
that will do nothing to help with network issues.
the only thing odd i see in your logs is you allowed networks is listed as 192.168.0.1-255 but should be 192.168.0.0/24 to specify a range
I have an issue where my remote access is enabled on my computer but several people who share my Plex cannot access my server remotely. It says offline to them… How do I go about fixing this?
I just updated that. Even had my ISP update my IP to a static one last night. Still sais servers are off line. I don’t know what else to try at this point. It keeps telling me its enabled, then disables a minute later. When I check via cell phone, it tells me “Server offline”. I have rebooted all devices on the network, and I would really like to know what the next level of tech support is to resolve this since it has worked for years and now mysteriously stopped working. Open port checker never shows open port on 32400.
my remote access completely crashes plex on macOS
Not sure if it matters but my port 80- is blocked also when I check on port forward. It also states that it should be open in my router settings. Any advice is appreciated since this still not working.
I’m not clear if you manually port forwarded or are just using UPnP. can you describe how your network is set up? Just modem>router>server>computer
It is only my new gateway modem. A motorola MG7550 set up with UPnP on and the ports for plex forwarded through the firewall. There is no other infrastructure on the network except a TRENDnet 8 port unmanaged switch that connects all my office equipment. The server is connected to that switch as well, but has been for a long time before it stopped working. The modem I just bought new recently because I kept getting regular T3 timeout issues unrelated to plex.
ok most routers should be able to have both set. in remote access settings you have 32400 set for the manually specified port then?
Assuming you were following these instructions for port forward. https://motorolamentor.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/227021568-How-to-setup-Port-Forwarding-using-the-MG7550
if you go on your cell phone (on cellular not wifi) and go to externalIP:32400/web does it load up the web app?
External connection timed out on web browser. Plex app still states “OFFLINE”.
ok would you mind taking a screenshot of your port forwarding rule in router. maybe something is just slightly off.
or maybe in remote access settings disable the manually specified port to let UPnP take over and see if that works.
I actually just tried to login through the web browser on my phone it sais can’t connect securely, so I changed from preffered to required on the security screen, but everything still states off line.

EDIT: I will delete this post after you review since i dont want my public IP bombed.
EDIT 2: Turned off UPnP in modem, rebooted modem, rebooted server, rebooted phone. Same status. Offline.
for your port forwarding rule in router you need to have the external IP be 0.0.0.0 ( step 10 here)
by entering an IP there it is saying that it can only be accessed via that particular external IP an no place else. like if you had a vacation home and only wanted it to be accessed from there. since you have your own external there it is not allowing anything from the outside in.
OMFG you maniacal genius! That was it. Something sooo simple that I had overlooked a hundred thousand times.

Its fixed and working on both my android and iphones now. Thank you very much for the time spend with me on this today!
The remote access stopped working about a week ago. Plex will still stream from my home (where the server is) but my sister can’t access it remotely anymore. Any suggestions for someone who is not super tech savvy?
Same problem here - no changes to my network for years - remote access has been fine. Then two weeks ago - Remote Access Not Available.
Cisco RVS4000 router - 32400 port forwarded to server (verified port access through canyouseeme).
Tried all the tips in here - disabled VPN and DoS on router… no success.
Windows 10 machine with all OS firewall modules turned off.
I can access all content via LAN just fine.
Again - zero changes on my end - Remote Access doesn’t stay activated.
I, too, have had this happen to me in the last few days. I was going along just fine with remote access working perfectly, then I updated to 1.23.2.4625 and, even though it tells me “Fully accessible outside your network” none of my friends (or I) can access my Plex Server from outside my home network. I made zero changes to the configuration.
Help???
(updated: I attached my most recent Server Logs)
Sounds identical to my issue from this past week.
