# Remote access limitations?

Server Version#:1.17.0.1709-982421575  
Player Version#:3.2.20.0

Hey all, I’m trying to figure out if I was to share my plex library with a couple of friends, would they be restricted to accessing my server via one client device or theoretically would they be able to connect multiple devices at once and stream simultaneously from multiple devices?. I fear if its the latter it would put too much of a strain on my server. Thanks in advance.

Normally it’s unlimited, but there is a server setting you can enable.

`Remote streams allowed per user`

This will affect all remote streams from all users.
