I’m having the same issue as many others, it says remote access is fully accessible for seconds, yet I can’t connect to it outside my network also app.plex.tv doesn’t work.
Ignore the flickering remote access status indicator… it’s only listing a green status while testing your remote connection.

i’ve read a lot of related articles. seen some YT videos but nothing helped. I have dyndns account, tested too, didnt work! Thinking about a certificate problem maybe? How can i test it? Get a new one? Sorry for bad english, i’m german, thx for reply
The troubleshooting isn’t so much about the outcome… you already know it’s not working. It’s about the output / findings of the individual steps — e.g. is your forwarded public port visible outside your home network?
checked now with little snitch (outgoing FW) , signature should be ok, valid till 2/27, outgoing traffic to Plex is working

You weren’t going crazy, Plex’s back end has been down for a few hours. Just starting to come back up now.
