# Remote control for Plex using a tabet

Hi.
I am trying to build a Plex media server using a pc and tablet. The idea is that the PC would access the NAS to play media files and the tablet would act as a remote control over a network with play, pause and other controls on it. I have home assistant running on a Pi but it will not play 4k files.
I’ve seen that the PlexNMTHelper can act as a PLEX remote control. But I would need to buy a Networked Media Tank.
Is it possible? Can anybody piont me in the right direction.

You should be able to control a Plex stream from the Plex client on a tablet on a different device
