# Remote Server On Samsung Smart Tv Doesn't work

Good day,
Remote Server on my tv on another network does not work.
I Have tried all possible solution in your articles please assist.

You are using an older Samsung TV from 2015 or earlier, with a 3rd. Party client on it
Sadly, your TV is to old to support modern encryption, and due to that, can’t connect to the server
You could ask your friend owning the remote server to set encryption to preferred instead of requeried

But when said, I recommend you instead go out and buy an external media player, and connect that to your TV with an HDMI cable
Like a Shield or an Apple TV or siml.
