Can we please have a way to remove Common Sense Media from cluttering up the screen. It’s just more forced crap we can’t unselect from our UI. Already have age ratings based on country, it’s superfluous.

I recommend you move this outside the “Plex Player Preview” or whatever subcategory this is. You probably put this thread in the subcategory by mistake like I did before.

They’re probably getting some $$$ from someone for having it there. I know they previously indicated it can’t/won’t be able to be disabled.

I’m pretty sure it’s the other way around. Plex is paying to license the data from Common Sense Media.

Yeah, this would make sense particularly as part of a family controls feature for the platform (not just local media but also the VOD\LiveTV platform). Edit: I too would like to turn it off because it’s kinda jarring as an element on screen; particularly one that I 100% do not care about.

Is that what the price hike to 749USD for a plex pass is going towards?

Universal rating systems are 1000% better than country-based systems with no reasoning behind it. CSM has benefits for ANYONE with families and anyone that doesn’t like looking at 1 million different ratings systems thrown into their library because each country is “slightly” different.
