# Remove from Recently Added button

For those of us who are not SQL nerds and dont want to mess with server files etc adding a button into plex even if its just for the windows version for maintenance purposes for removing it from recently added would be wonderful as i have shows that have glitched and have been at the top of the list for months now and wont go away until who knows when. Yes i have searched how to get rid of them and no there is no SIMPLE fix this would be a wonderful addition whenever shows/movies decide to be dumb and stick around for far to long.

There’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to remove items from the recently added hub. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

Inspect the [Plex media info](https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201998867-Investigate-Media-Information-and-Formats) XML of a few of them.
Copy the number inside the XML property `addedAt="...`
and paste it into [https://www.epochconverter.com/](https://www.epochconverter.com/)
Now look at the human-readable date which this website is giving back.
Is it in the future?
