Removed Plex as it would not update, so I’m trying to do a fresh install on Windows10. TO UNINSTALL I: —Uninstalled using Windows Remove Program —Then deleted Plex from Registry —Then removed the LOCALAPPDATA folder WHEN I TRY TO REINSTALL: I keep getting the same message: “Previous installer data found without “UninstallString” value. Please remove Plex Media Server manually first” I cannot find any “previous installer data” or anything else Plex-related anywhere. I’m at my wits end. And to be clear, the Microsoft “Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter” can also find no trace of Plex to uninstall. ---

See if it can find traces of `pms-shutdown.msi` still present. Let it uninstall this as well. Do also empty out the temp folder etc. ---

I appreciate your help, but in the end I’ve tried everything but can’t reinstall. I’m running it on another PC, but am so frustrated with Plex that I have now installed a competitive product and am happy with it (especially the ability to sort photo libraries by time, date, name, etc., a feature that Plex has always lacked). But thank you. ---
