Years ago I added personal media to my Plex library. I’ve edited all meta data myself because Plex cannot read files with meta data. But I want to reorganize my personal media. But I do not want to import, edit en organize it all again within Plex. Is there a way to do this? Reorganizing is moving files and folders and rename the files itself. ---

If the files stay in the same library, you should mostly be OK (as long as you are not interfering with the ability for Plex to recognise the film/show. Try it by moving one film and then rescanning. ---

This process should preserve your metadata edits.
