Replaced My C drive now plex wont show all my tv shows

I replaced my c drive in my computer witch had my plex server on it and now it wont bring up all of my tv shows. Now i don’t think it could be the naming convention because the names of my files have not changed because they were saved on a separate drive. I also, don’t think that it is the NTFS file path length either because again the file paths haven’t changed for the files. So, the only thing that has changed is that i have had to reinstall the plex media server. So any help would be appreciated.

Did you recreate your Plex configuration or did you have a backup?

Where are your TV shows stored?

At which folder did you point Plex (in the properties of the TV show library)

Please give an example of a typical file name, including the full folder path.

I had to start all over no back up.

My tv shows is stored on another hard drive that is always connected to the computer (F:\Videos\Bluray\Tv Series and F:\Videos\DVD\TV Seasons) where the server is running from the C drive

i pointed the library to F:\Videos\Bluray\Tv Series and F:\Videos\DVD\TV Seasons

  1. Look up your show on TheTVDB
  2. Take the title as it is used on TheTVDB. If there is something in parentheses, take that too. If the title contains invalid characters (depends on your file system), like § : % *, simply leave them out.
  3. Check the naming and the folder structure of your show. Name the top folder of the show exactly after the title on TheTVDB. No abbreviations. No additional subfolders. No aliases. Add the (year) in parentheses when episode 1 of season 1 of this show was aired.
  4. Name the episode files according to the above linked naming guide. Use the same title as for the top folder. Show's Title - s01e01 - additional info.ext (‘- additional info’ can be left out)
  5. After you corrected the naming and folder structure, perform the Plex Dance with all files for this show.

i did the steps for the Plex Dance and while the files were out of sight from plex i changed the names and it seems to have worked for one seasons i will try it for all the other shows and hope it works.
