You know what would be really nice… A way to toggle a switch in setting that would broadcast a nice big ‘offline message’ so your family and friends know your system is down (while your upgrading or running maintenance). It could even have a timer on it showing how long before the server is back on. Not the biggest feature request in the world but it would be appreciated. Its annoying when you get texts and calls asking ‘is the server up?’ haha Long Live Plex ---

Early 2021 clean-up: duplicate (one of many) > [@Send server messages](https://forums.plex.tv/t/send-server-messages/23773): > > It would be great as a PlexPass user to unlock a feature to send messages to the viewers. Information on planned maintenance (running every 20min or so) Restart information (one time message) and so on. This would be nice to have when you have a shared server. Vote on the poll, and maybe give a comment in suggestions to make this feature request better. Best regards Sleepwalker ---
