# \[Request\] Better Image/Video Gallery

We need Better image/video gallery (for data from camera), more features and more modern look and feel. I personal like the Google+ image gallery features and would love to have this features or most of them integrated to plex.
- more modern ui like Google+ photos
- face detection
- search in images for tags, locations, dates of recoding and found persons
- connect faces (found with face detection) with contacts from phone, tablet, computer ( when adding a face autocomplete with existing names and contacts like for labels )
- highlight section where best photos are selected ( no idea what criterias Google have here )
- a tour mode where I can auto generate a cool photo/video tour with locations and image caption ([sample can be found here](https://www.google.com/photos/about/?page=home))
- option to share an album or tagged images by social media, plex or as link
- comment function for images
- combine personal images and photos because it usually comes together mostly (i make photos and videos with my phone often)
By the way please upgrade your photoupload function to work with videos too.

Your third bullet:

would be addressed if the photo library would support more tags. Please see this topic where this has been requested and vote with a like:

Some Plex clients (I know at least the Roku and PHT support this) allow you to play music from the music library and view photos from the photo library. With support for playlists and filtering on these additional photo tags you could create a very simple photo slideshow with music. Not quite the same as the Google photo tour but still would be nice to have.

How about something simple like being able to see the basic information about a photo (date taken, EXIF information, etc.). On the Android app all you get right now is the filename!
