I’ve got my entire music library in FLAC, but I often find myself wanting MP3 or M4A copies of my music. Currently, I accomplish this by maintaining a separate copy of my library in these two formats. This is a bit of a pain since every time I go and add music to my library or update metadata, I have to go through and fix up the other two copies of it. Since Plex already has the infrastructure in place to monitor my library for changes and already supports transcoding to these two file formats, it would be amazing if it would add support to autogenerate transcoded copies of my music libraries to an arbitrary folder that was always (or nearly always) up to date. Plex Sync almost does this right now, but it doesn’t support non-device/cloud scenarios and it doesn’t seem to add metadata to the transcoded files. ---
