Request [Music Quality / Remote Streaming] default be changed to Original on mobile apps

I have a lot of FLAC in my audio collection but Plex apps default to transcoding those to 192k mp3! That might have made sense in the days of 10M internet but it’s obsolete now. I have to tell every user to go in and change the setting to Original so it’s not an unnecessary strain on my server and so they’re actually listening to lossless music. Less than half of the users can figure it out and others just don’t think they need to bother.

My server CPU will thank you.

As far as I’m concerned, Plex should default to ‘Original’ for ALL media types across ALL devices, or at least “Auto/Smart” ala Jellyfin where it always TRIES to play original quality first and then dials back if network conditions aren’t ideal from moment-to-moment. Or at least allow server admins to set quality per user, again ala Jellyfin.
