The feature and idea are pretty simple, if movies are almost always played on Device X that requires a certain format to play. Allow the user an option that will have plex transcode the video as soon as it is discovered. This would help with performance issues a lot of servers see while transcoding and playing back at the same time (transcode less than 1x).
